it was race condition prone. instead use either a pair of my_delete()
calls with already resolved paths, or a safe high-level function
my_handler_delete_with_symlink(), like MyISAM and Aria already do.
Compiler there is strict about the C/C++ call model
mixing in function variable assumptions.
Fixed by adding some 'extern "C"' and changing
'?' operator with 'if'.
Instead of encrypt(src, dst, key, iv) that encrypts all
data in one go, now we have encrypt_init(key,iv),
encrypt_update(src,dst), and encrypt_finish(dst).
This also causes collateral changes in the internal my_crypt.cc
encryption functions and in the encryption service.
There are wrappers to provide the old all-at-once encryption
functionality. But binlog events are often written piecewise,
they'll need the new api.
Do not call handler::rebind_psi() and handler::unbind_psi() when performance
schema is compiled out.
Overhead change:
handler::rebind_psi 0.04% -> out of radar
handler::unbind_psi 0.03% -> out of radar
open_table 0.21% -> 0.18%
close_thread_table 0.05% -> 0.05%
* Extract it into the "encryption_scheme" service.
* Make these engines to use the service, remove duplicate code.
* Change MY_AES_xxx error codes, to return them safely
from encryption_scheme_encrypt/decrypt without conflicting
with ENCRYPTION_SCHEME_KEY_INVALID error
