SQL thread and I/O thread. I have also re-written a lot of the code to
prepare for multi-master implementation.

Could not look at that if () at the start of execute_command, and as
Monty evidently did not have time, so I optimised it away in the best
fashion I know of.

When Monty approves / corrects it, I will "port" it to multi-table

One more notice:
