To make this possible, it was also necessary to enhance the mariadb
client with the option --print-query-on-error.
This option can also be very useful when running a batch of queries
through the mariadb client and one wants to find out where things goes
wrong.
TODO: It would be good to enhance mariadb_upgrade to not call the mariadb
client for executing queries but instead do this internally. This
would have made this patch much easier!

safety first - tell mariadb client not to execute dangerous
cli commands, they cannot be present in the dump anyway.
wrapping the command in /*!999999 ..... */ guarantees that
if a non-mariadb-cli client loads the dump and sends it to the
server - the server will ignore the command it doesn't understand
The MDEV-29693 conflict resolution is from Monty, as well as is
a bug fix where ANALYZE TABLE wrongly built histograms for
single-column PRIMARY KEY.
Also includes a fix for safe_malloc error reporting.
Other things:
- Copied main.log_slow from 10.4 to avoid mtr issue
Disabled test:
- spider/bugfix.mdev_27239 because we started to get
+Error 1429 Unable to connect to foreign data source: localhost
-Error 1158 Got an error reading communication packets
- main.delayed
- Bug#54332 Deadlock with two connections doing LOCK TABLE+INSERT DELAYED
This part is disabled for now as it fails randomly with different
warnings/errors (no corruption).
Additionally fixes the bugs uncovered in:
- `MDEV-28332: Alter on temporary table causes ER_TABLE_EXISTS_ERROR note`
Since there is no `warning` issued by shadowing of base table, this MDEV
is irrelevant. Keeping for review purposes and for future development
in case shadowing is going to be implemented
- `MDEV-28334: SHOW TABLE STATUS shows all temporary tables ignoring database and conditions`
- `MDEV-28453: SHOW commands are inconsistent for temporary tables`

SUPER privilege used to allow various actions that were alternatively
allowed by one of BINLOG ADMIN, BINLOG MONITOR, BINLOG REPLAY,
CONNECTION ADMIN, FEDERATED ADMIN, REPL MASTER ADMIN, REPL SLAVE ADMIN,
SET USER, SLAVE MONITOR.
Now SUPER no longer does that, one has to grant one of the fine-grained
privileges above to be to perform corresponding actions.
On upgrade from MariaDB versions 10.11 and below all the privileges
above are granted automatically if the user has SUPER.
As a side-effect, such an upgrade will allow SUPER-user to run SHOW
BINLOG EVENTS, SHOW RELAYLOG EVENTS, SHOW SLAVE HOSTS, even if he wasn't
able to do it before the upgrade.
This was done after discussions with Igor, Sanja and Bar.
The main reason for removing the deprication was to ensure that MariaDB
is always backward compatible whenever possible.
Other things:
- Added statistics counters, mainly for the feedback plugin.
- INTO OUTFILE
- INTO variable
- If INTO is using the old syntax (end of query)
Some tests drop the default mtr database "test". This may fail due
to the directory not being empty. InnoDB may not delete all tables
immediately, due to the "background drop table queue" or its
replacement in commit 1bd681c8b3
(the purge of history would clean up after a DDL operation during
which the server was killed).
Let us try to avoid "drop database test" whenever it is easily possible.
Where it is not, SET GLOBAL innodb_max_purge_lag_wait=0 will ensure
that the replacement of the "background drop table queue" will have
completed its job.
