dbfee9fc2b MDEV-34348: Consolidate cmp function declarations
Partial commit of the greater MDEV-34348 scope.
MDEV-34348: MariaDB is violating clang-16 -Wcast-function-type-strict

The functions queue_compare, qsort2_cmp, and qsort_cmp2
all had similar interfaces, and were used interchangable
and unsafely cast to one another.

This patch consolidates the functions all into the
qsort_cmp2 interface.

c73c6aea63 MDEV-33426: Aria temptables wrong thread-specific memory accounting in slave thread
Aria temporary tables account allocated memory as specific to the current
THD. But this fails for slave threads, where the temporary tables need to be
detached from any specific THD.

Introduce a new flag to mark temporary tables in replication as "global",
and use that inside Aria to not account memory allocations as thread
specific for such tables.

Based on original suggestion by Monty.

f7a9f446d7 cleanup: remove unused keyinfo flag
HA_UNIQUE_CHECK was
* only used internally by MyISAM/Aria
* only used for internal temporary tables (for DISTINCT)
* never saved in frm
* saved in MYI/MAD but only for temporary tables
* only set, never checked

it's safe to remove it and free the bit (there are only 16 of them)

1ef22e28ad MDEV-26258 Various crashes/asserts/corruptions when Aria encryption is enabled/used, but the encryption plugin is not loaded
The reason for the MDEV reported failures is that the tests are enabling
encryption for Aria but not providing any encryption keys.

Fixed by checking if encryption keys exists before creating the table.

Other things:
- maria.encrypt_wrong-key changed as we now get the error on CREATE
  instead during insert.

6aa9a552c2 MDEV-24576 Atomic CREATE TABLE
There are a few different cases to consider

Logging of CREATE TABLE and CREATE TABLE ... LIKE
- If REPLACE is used and there was an existing table, DDL log the drop of
  the table.
- If discovery of table is to be done
    - DDL LOG create table
  else
    - DDL log create table (with engine type)
    - create the table
- If table was created
  - Log entry to binary log with xid
  - Mark DDL log completed

Crash recovery:
- If query was in binary log do nothing and exit
- If discoverted table
   - Delete the .frm file
-else
   - Drop created table and frm file
- If table was dropped, write a DROP TABLE statement in binary log

CREATE TABLE ... SELECT required a little more work as when one is using
statement logging the query is written to the binary log before commit is
done.
This was fixed by adding a DROP TABLE to the binary log during crash
recovery if the ddl log entry was not closed. In this case the binary log
will contain:
CREATE TABLE xxx ... SELECT ....
DROP TABLE xxx;

Other things:
- Added debug_crash_here() functionality to Aria to be able to test
crash in create table between the creation of the .MAI and the .MAD files.

8f33f49ebe Aria: Add transaction id to log of create table
In the case of a crash directly after a creation of an Aria table,
Aria recovery would think that the table was from another system and
require a repair of the table and inform that the table is 'zerofilled".
This would cause no harm, but was confusing to see when testing atomic
alter table.

Fixed by logging the create transaction id to the log.

Other things:
- Added "show table status from sys" to maria_empy_logs. This ensures one
does not get any zerofill warnings when sys/sys_config is used by other
  tests.
- aria_chk --describe now prints a warning if the table was moved from
  another system.
- Logging of truncate (maria_delete_all_rows) is changed to use the
current trid for the create table.
This is to ensure that we do not run into the same problem with truncate.
- Changed back sys_config table to Aria as this patch should fix the
  "zerofill" problem in buildbot.
- Added scripts/mysql_sys_schema.sql to .gitignore

for internal temporary tables: don't use realpath(),

1b5e5bdef3 MDEV-20306 Assert when converting encrypted Aria table to S3
Changes:
- maria_create() now uses a bit in the parameter flags to check if table
should be encrypted instead of using maria_encrypted_tables.
- Don't encrypt tables that are to be converted to S3
- Added encrypted flag to ARIA_TABLE_CAPABILITIES
- maria_chk --description now prints if table is encrypted. Other
operations is not allowed on encrypted tables.

6c50875a38 MDEV-20279 Increase Aria index length limit
Limit increased from 1000 to 2000.

Avoiding stack overflow by only storing keys and pages on the stack in
recursive functions if there is plenty of space on it.

Other things:
- Use less stack space for b-tree operations as we now only allocate as
much space as needed instead of always allocating HA_MAX_KEY_LENGTH.
- Replaced most usage of my_safe_alloca() in Aria with the stack_alloc
  interface.
- Moved my_setstacksize() to mysys/my_pthread.c

d6d63f4844 MDEV-16421 Make system tables crash safe
Make all system tables in mysql directory of type
engine=Aria

Privilege tables are using transactional=1
Statistical tables are using transactional=0, to allow them
to be quickly updated with low overhead.
Help tables are also using transactional=0 as these are only
updated at init time.

Other changes:
- Aria store engine is now a required engine
- Update comment for Aria tables to reflect their new usage
- Fixed that _ma_reset_trn_for_table() removes unlocked table
from transaction table list. This was needed to allow one
to lock and unlock system tables separately from other
tables, for example when reading a procedure from mysql.proc
- Don't give a warning when using transactional=1 for engines
that is using transactions. This is both logical and also
to avoid warnings/errors when doing an alter of a privilege
  table to InnoDB.
- Don't abort on warnings from ALTER TABLE for changes that
would be accepted by CREATE TABLE.
- New created Aria transactional tables are marked as not movable
  (as they include create_rename_lsn).
- bootstrap.test was changed to kill orignal server, as one
can't anymore have two servers started at same time on same
  data directory and data files.
- Disable maria.small_blocksize as one can't anymore change
aria block size after system tables are created.
- Speed up creation of help tables by using lock tables.
- wsrep_sst_resync now also copies Aria redo logs.
