273d1b9300 Fix test suite:
on Windows, kill <connection> can and almost always will return client error 2013 ("Lost connection...") on the killed connection,
On the server side, if connection is "sleeping" KILL will close the socket, thus socket error on client is expected.

22e793639a Added new options to KILL. New syntax is KILL [HARD|SOFT] [CONNECTION|QUERY] [ID | USER user_name]
- If USER is given, all threads for that user is signaled
- If SOFT is used then the KILL will not be sent to the handler. This can be used to not interrupt critical things in the handler like 'REPAIR'.

Internally added more kill signals. This gives us more information of why a query/connection was killed.
- KILL_SERVER is used when server is going down. In this case the users gets ER_SHUTDOWN as the reason connection was killed.
- Changed signals to number in correct order, which makes it easier to test how the signal should affect the code.
- New error message ER_CONNECTION_KILLED if connection was killed by 'KILL CONNECTION'. Before we got error ER_SHUTDOWN.

Changed names of not used parameters KILL_QUERY & KILL_CONNCTION to mysql_kill() to not conflict with defines in the server

bf7d414b40 BUG#11753004: 44360: REPLICATION FAILED
The server crashes if it processes table map events that are
corrupted, especially if they map different tables to the same
identifier. This could happen, for instance, due to BUG 56226.

We fix this by checking whether the table map has already been
mapped before actually applying the event. If it has been mapped
with different settings an error is raised and the slave SQL
thread stops. If it has been mapped with same settings the event
is skipped. If the table is set to be ignored by the filtering
rules, there is no change in behavior: the event is skipped and
ids are not checked.

mysql-test/suite/rpl/t/rpl_row_corruption.test:
Added a simple test case that checks both cases:
  - multiple table maps with the same identifier
  - multiple table maps with the same identifier, but only one
is processed (the others are filtered out)

54fcd3b88e Another attempt at fixing the rare random failures of rpl_corruption
The previous patch partially fixed things by waiting for the old dump thread
on the master to exit before injecting the DBUG error. This prevents the error
injection going to the wrong thread.

However, there is still the problem that the old dump thread may never exit,
causing the wait to time out. This happens if the dump thread manages to write
all events down the socket before the socket is closed by the slave. The
master dump thread only checks for slave gone when writing a new event, so if
no new events are generated, old dump threads can hang around forever on the
master after the slave disconnects.

Fix by explicitly killing the old dump thread if it is still around.

3b724a0505 Attempt to fix rpl.rpl_corruption failure seen in Buildbot on Windows.
There is a potential race when we stop the slave. It may take some time for
the master to detect that the slave connection is closed (eg. if scheduling
delays the TCP RSET packet or whatever). Since we inject only a single corrupt
binlog event, we may be unfortunate enough to inject it on the wrong
connection, to a slave io thread that's already stopped.

Fix by waiting for the old dump thread on the master to go away before
injecting the corrupt event.

4f03d60096 BUG#11746302: 25228: RPL_RELAYSPACE.TEST FAILS ON POWERMACG5,
VM-WIN2003-32-A, SLES10-IA64-A

The test case waits for master_pos_wait not to timeout, which
means that the deadlock between SQL and IO threads was
succesfully and automatically dealt with.

However, very rarely, master_pos_wait reports a timeout. This
happens because the time set for master_pos_wait to wait was
too small (6 seconds). On slow test env this could be a
problem.

We fix this by setting the timeout inline with the one used
in sync_slave_with_master (300 seconds). In addition we
refactored the test case and refined some comments.

e2ff288531 Fix buildbot failure in rpl_stop_slave.test.
Problem was setting DEBUG_SYNC twice in a row too fast in the test case; this
could cause the second setting to override the first before the code had time
to react to the first, causing the signal to get lost.

Fixed by waiting for the code to receive the first signal before overwriting
it in the test case.

dcf6b68d08 Bug #11766769: 59959: SMALL VALUES OF --MAX-ALLOWED-PACKET
ARE NOT BEING HONORED

max_allowed_packet works in conjunction with net_buffer_length.
max_allowed_packet is an upper bound of net_buffer_length.
So it doesn't make sense to set the upper limit lower than the value.
Added a warning (using ER_UNKNOWN_ERRROR and a specific message)
when this is done (in the log at startup and when setting either
max_allowed_packet or the net_buffer_length variables)
Added a test case.
Fixed several tests that broke the above rule.

b489c89f73 BUG#11766865: 60091: RBR + NO PK + UPDATE NULL VALUE --> SLAVE BREAK WITH ERROR HA_ERR_END_OF_
The slave was not able to find the correct row in the innodb
table, because the row fetched from the innodb table would not
match the before image. This happened because the (don't care)
bytes in the NULLed fields would change once the row was stored
in the storage engine (from zero to the default value). This
would make bulk memory comparison (using memcmp) to fail.

We fix this by taking a preventing measure and avoiding memcmp
for tables that contain nullable fields. Therefore, we protect
the slave search routine from engines that return arbitrary
values for don't care bytes (in the nulled fields). Instead, the
slave thread will only check null_bits and those fields that are
not set to NULL when comparing the before image against the
storage engine row.

mysql-test/extra/rpl_tests/rpl_record_compare.test:
Added test case to the include file so that this is tested
  with more than one engine.
mysql-test/suite/rpl/r/rpl_row_rec_comp_innodb.result:
  Result update.
mysql-test/suite/rpl/r/rpl_row_rec_comp_myisam.result:
  Result update.
mysql-test/suite/rpl/t/rpl_row_rec_comp_myisam.test:
Moved the include file last, so that the result from
BUG#11766865 is not intermixed with the result for
  BUG#11760454.
sql/log_event.cc:
Skips memory comparison if the table has nullable
columns and compares only non-nulled fields in the
  field comparison loop.

Changed test suite to use --log-basename (to get the code tested)
Added --sync-sys=1 to test suite to speed it up.
Better error messages if something goes wrong with mysql_install_db

mysql-test/Makefile.am:
  Removed not existing directory
mysql-test/lib/My/ConfigFactory.pm:
  Use log-basename
We had to also set 'log_error' as some test was explicitely using the old name
Added 'sync-sys=1' to speed up test suite
mysql-test/r/variables-notembedded.result:
Updated test results (variable relay_log is now set)
mysql-test/suite/binlog/t/binlog_delete_and_flush_index-master.opt:
Force specific names for some log files.

  Updated results
mysql-test/suite/rpl/rpl_1slave_base.cnf:
  Use --log-basename
scripts/mysql_install_db.sh:
  More information to --help
Write url to knowledge base if something goes wrong
Fail at once if we can't create a database directory (no reason to continue and write a screenful of not related text)
scripts/mysqld_safe.sh:
Also allow one to use --data for --datadir (common shortening)
  Added support for --log-basename
Fail at once if we can't create a log directory
Fixed bug where we used a pid file name without '.pid' extension

6041d9c886 Fix for BUG#11868903 (BUG#59717)
There is a race between two threads: user thread and the dump
thread. The former sets a debug instruction that makes the latter wait
before processing an Xid event. There can be cases that the dump
thread has not yet processed the previous Xid event, causing it to
wait one Xid event too soon, thus causing sync_slave_with_master never
to resume.

We fix this by moving the instructions that set the debug variable
after calling sync_slave_with_master.
