delete is declared. As we don't use exceptions placement delete is never
called and the fix only affects numerous warnings when
compiling with MS Visual C++.
For more info see http://www.gotw.ca/gotw/010.htm.
Ensure that references in HAVING, ORDER BY or GROUP BY are calculated after fields in SELECT.
This will ensure that any reference to these has a valid value.
Generalized the code for split_sum_func()
Added push_back(void *, MEM_ROOT *) to make some list-handling code easier that needs to be allocated in a different mem-root
(Before one had to change thd->mem_root ; push_back(); restore mem_root.
Added tests for != predicate.
sql_select.cc:
Fixing bugs in Item_equal code:
added a parameter in substitute_for_equal_field;
modified eliminate_item_equal.
sql_list.h:
Cleanup
Fixed compiler warnings (a lot of hidden variables detected by the Forte compiler)
Added a lot of 'version_xxx' strings to 'show variables'
Prevent copying of TMP_TABLE_PARAM (This caused core dump bug on Solaris)
Fixed problem with printing sub selects to debug log
The objects of this class represent multiple conjunctive equalities
in where conditions: =(f1,f2,...fn) <=> f1=f2 and f2= ... and =fn.
The objects are used to generate new possibale paths to access
the tables when executing a query.
They are also used to optimize the execution plan
chosen by the optimizer for the query.
bmove_allign -> bmove_align
Added OLAP function ROLLUP
Split mysql_fix_privilege_tables to a script and a .sql data file
Added new (MEMROOT*) functions to avoid calling current_thd() when creating some common objects.
Added table_alias_charset, for easier --lower-case-table-name handling
Better SQL_MODE handling (Setting complex options also sets sub options)
New (faster) assembler string functions for x86
Warning handling and initial prepared statement handling (last not complete yet)
Changed a lot of functions that returned 0/1 to my_bool type.
GRANT handling now uses read/write locks instead of mutex
Change basic net functions to use THD instead of NET
(needed for 4.1 protocol)
Use my_sprintf instead of sprintf() + strlen()
Added alloc_query() to be able to chare query initialization code with
prepared statements.
Cleanup handling of SHOW COUNT(*) WARNINGS and SELECT LAST_INSERT_ID()
Note that the following test fails (will be fixed ASAP):
sub_select, union, rpl_rotate_logs and rpl_mystery22
new file
Client-server protocol 4.1 changes - Server side:
* Enhanced metadata information:
- SHOW [COUNT(*)] ERRORS [LIMIT [offset,] rows]
- SHOW [COUNT(*)] WARNING [LIMIT [offset,] rows]
- SHOW TABLE TYPES
- SHOW PRIVILEGES
- SHOW COLUMN TYPES (Not fully implemented)
* Prepared execution
* Long data handling in pieces
* And other misc changes
New faster list iterators
Change list code to be simpler and faster
Optimize count(distinct)
New error messages for UNION
Make create_tmp_table more general to be usable by UNION
fixed concurrency bug with a very quickly disconnecting client -
the client could disconnect and delete thd before pthread_create
could write to &thd->real_id
sql/sql_list.h
while tracking down the bug, made new/delete go through my_malloc/my_free
for ilink - did not help, but this is better anyway - cleaner exit with a message in
out of memory codition at least.
