SHOW ENGINE INNODB MUTEX functionality is completely removed,
as are the InnoDB latching order checks.
We will enforce innodb_fatal_semaphore_wait_threshold
only for dict_sys.mutex and lock_sys.mutex.
dict_sys_t::mutex_lock(): A single entry point for dict_sys.mutex.
lock_sys_t::mutex_lock(): A single entry point for lock_sys.mutex.
FIXME: srv_sys should be removed altogether; it is duplicating tpool
functionality.
fil_crypt_threads_init(): To prevent SAFE_MUTEX warnings, we must
not hold fil_system.mutex.
fil_close_all_files(): To prevent SAFE_MUTEX warnings for
fil_space_destroy_crypt_data(), we must not hold fil_system.mutex
while invoking fil_space_free_low() on a detached tablespace.
Let us replace os_event_t with mysql_cond_t, and replace the
necessary ib_mutex_t with mysql_mutex_t so that they can be
used with condition variables.
Also, let us replace polling (os_thread_sleep() or timed waits)
with plain mysql_cond_wait() wherever possible.
Furthermore, we will use the lightweight srw_mutex for trx_t::mutex,
to hopefully reduce contention on lock_sys.mutex.
FIXME: Add test coverage of
mariabackup --backup --kill-long-queries-timeout
The XtraDB storage engine was already replaced by InnoDB
and disabled in MariaDB Server 10.2. Let us remove it altogether
to avoid dragging dead code around.
Replace some references to XtraDB with references to InnoDB.
rpl_get_position_info(): Remove.
Remove the mysql-test-run --suite=percona, because it only contains
tests specific to XtraDB, many of which were disabled already in
earlier MariaDB versions.
buf_dump(): Correct the printf format passed to buf_dump_status()
to match the argument types.
Revert the changes to storage/xtradb. XtraDB is not being compiled
for 10.2. The unused copy that we have in the 10.2 branch is only
getting merges from 10.1.
Disable the test sys_vars.innodb_buffer_pool_dump_pct_function
because it is unstable on buildbot.
Increase max number of possible table_open_cache instances from 512K
to 1024K. This only affects user who are trying to set the variable over
the old limit.
Delete not used test table_open_cache_instances_basic
(Need to be added back and rewritten in 10.2)
Disable sys_vars.all_vars test. There's no need to write
boilerplate tests for every new system variable, our
INFORMATION_SCHEMA.SYSTEM_VARIABLES and sysvar_* tests
are now used to show all basic properties of all variables.
mysql-test-run auto-disables all optional plugins.
