78cc6db44a MDEV-4667 DATE('string') incompability between mysql and mariadb
Cleanup: remove TIME_FUZZY_DATE.

Introduce TIME_FUZZY_DATES which means "very fuzzy, the resulting
value is only used for comparison. It can be invalid date, fine, as long as it can be
compared".

Updated many tests results (they're better now).

b2159871e4 Bug#16589511: MYSQL_UPGRADE FAILS TO WRITE OUT ENTIRE
ALTER TABLE ... ALGORITHM= ... STATEMENT

The problem was an intermediate buffer of smaller size,
which truncated the alter statement.

Solved by providing the size of the buffer to be allocated through
the function call, instead of using an one-size-fits-all stack buffer
inside the function.

Item_func_min_max::get_date() did not check the
returned value against the fuzzy_date flags, so
it could return a bad value to the caller that

ce29ca8b76 Bug#16753869:INCORRECT TRUNCATION OF LONG SET EXPRESSION IN
LOAD DATA CAN CAUSE SQL INJECTION

Problem:
=======
A long SET expression in LOAD DATA is incorrectly truncated
when written to the binary log.

Analysis:
========
LOAD DATA statements are reconstructed once again before
they are written to the binary log. When SET clauses are
specified as part of LOAD DATA statement, these SET clause
user command strings need to be stored as it is inorder to
reconstruct the original user command. At present these
strings are stored as part of SET clause item tree's
top most Item node's name itself which is incorrect. As an
Item::name can be of MAX_ALIAS_NAME (256) size. Hence the
name will get truncated to "255".

Because of this the rewritten LOAD DATA statement will be
terminated incorrectly. When this statment is read back by
the mysqlbinlog tool it reads a starting single quote and
continuos to read till it finds an ending quote. Hence any
statement written post ending quote will be considered as
a new statement.

Fix:
===
As name field has length restriction the string value
should not be stored in Item::name. A new String list is
maintained to store the SET expression values and this list
is read during reconstrution.

sql/sql_lex.cc:
Clear the load data set string list during each query
  execution.
sql/sql_lex.h:
Added a new String list to store the load data operation's
  SET clause user command strings.
sql/sql_load.cc:
Read the SET clause user command strings from load data
  set string list.
sql/sql_yacc.yy:
Store the SET caluse user command string as part of load
  data set string list.

df66ee7fe9 MDEV-4692: mysql.gtid_slave_pos accumulates values for a domain
When we load the slave state from the mysql.gtid_slave_pos at server start, we
need to load all the rows into the in-memory hash, not just the most recent
one in each replication domain. Otherwise we accumulate cruft in the form of
old rows each time the server restarts.

98ed58cad6 Bug#16945503 ADDRESSSANITIZER BUG IN SYS_VARS
Sys_var_keycache inherits from some variant of Sys_var_integer

Instances of Sys_var_keycache are initialized using the KEYCACHE_VAR macro,
which takes an offset within st_key_cache.
However, the Sys_var_integer CTOR treats the offset as if it was within
global_system_variables (hidden within some layers of macros and fuction
pointers)

The result is that we write arbitrary data to arbitrary locations in memory.
This all happens during static initialization of global objects,
i.e. before we have even entered the main() function.

ab4a13b2b9 Switching [EXPLAIN] UPDATE/DELETE to rely on query plan footprints.
This requires that subselect's footprints are saved before it is deleted.

Attempt to save select's QPF exposes one to a variety of edge cases:
- the select may be a UNION's "fake select" which has no valid id
- optimization may fail in the middle (but subsequent JOIN::optimize() calls
will succeed, despite the fact that there never was a query plan)

7cc7710679 Merging MDEV-4635 from 5.3.
Also, fixing a bug in STR_TO_DATE(). It erroneously returned
error in strict mode for dates like '0000-01-01'
(zero year, but non-zero month and day).

According to the manual:
- NO_ZERO_DATE disallows 0000-00-00 (all date parts are zeros)
- NO_ZERO_IN_DATE disallows zero month (YYYY-00-DD) or day (YYYY-MM-00).

0000-01-01 is a valid date, even in strict mode.

03691a7771 SHOW EXPLAIN UPDATE/DELETE
- Introduce "Query Plan Footprints" (abbrev. QPFs)
QPF is a part of query plan that is
  1. sufficient to produce EXPLAIN output,
  2. can be used to produce EXPLAIN output even after its subquery/union
     was executed and deleted
  3. is cheap to save so that we can always save query plans

- This patch doesn't fully address #2, we make/save strings for
a number of EXPLAIN's columns. This will be fixed.

c61c1d7ce1 MDEV-4576 : Aria storage engine's temporary files might not be deleted (Errcode : 13)
See also MySQL Bug #39750 and similar ones.

Fix my_delete() on Windows, to safely remvoe files on Windows, including files that are opened by another threads in the same process, antiviruses and backup applications. If file to be deleted is also opened by another thread, the file is renamed to unique name prior to deletion - this makes it possible to create file with the same name right after deletion.
With this patch my_delete_allow_opened() becomes obsolete and is replaced with my_delete().

This patch is rework of the patch http://lists.mysql.com/commits/59327 for MySQL bug#39750.

d7e0c3cc73 MDEV-4456 Reverse discovery of ARCHIVE table on SELECT after disappearance of ARZ file
Implement discovery of table non-existence, and related changes:

1. Split GTS_FORCE_DISCOVERY (that was meaning two different things in
two different functions) into GTS_FORCE_DISCOVERY and GTS_USE_DISCOVERY.
2. Move GTS_FORCE_DISCOVERY implementation into open_table_def().
3. In recover_from_failed_open() clear old errors *before* discovery,
not after successful discovery. The final error should come
from the discovery.
4. On forced discovery delete table .frm first. Discovery will write
a new one, if desired.
5. If the frm file exists, but not the table in the engine, force
rediscovery if the engine supports it.
