dd0ff30278 MDEV-11343 LOAD DATA INFILE fails to load data with an escape character followed by a multi-byte character
Partially backporting MDEV-9874 from 10.2 to 10.0

READ_INFO::read_field() raised the ER_INVALID_CHARACTER_STRING error
when reading an escape character followed by a multi-byte character.

Raising wellformedness errors in READ_INFO::read_field() was wrong,
because the main goal of READ_INFO::read_field() is to *unescape* the
data which was presumably escaped using mysql_real_escape_string(),
using the same character set with the one specified in
"LOAD DATA INFILE ... CHARACTER SET ..." (or assumed by default).

During LOAD DATA, multi-byte characters are not always scanned as a single
entity! In case of escaped data, parts of a multi-byte character can be
scanned on different loop iterations. So the old code erroneously tested
welformedness in the middle of a multi-byte character.

Moreover, the data after unescaping can go into a BLOB field, not a text field.
Wellformedness tests are meaningless in this case.

Ater this patch, wellformedness is only checked later, during
Field::store(str,length,cs) time. The loop that scans bytes only
makes sure to revert the changes made by mysql_real_escape_string().

Note, in some cases users can supply data which did not really go through
mysql_real_escape_string() and was escaped by some other means,
or was not escaped at all. The file reported in this MDEV contains
the string "\ä", which is an example of such improperly escaped data, as
- either there should be two backslashes: "\\ä"
- or there should be no backslashes at all: "ä"
mysql_real_escape_string() could not generate "\ä".

9f7288e2e0 BUG#23080148 - BACKPORT BUG 14653594 AND BUG 20683959 TO
MYSQL-5.5

The bug asks for a backport of bug#1463594 and bug#20682959. This
is required because of the fact that if replication is enabled, master
transaction can commit whereas slave can't commit due to not exact
'enviroment'. This manifestation is seen in bug#22024200.

95e99e1263 Bug#11759519 - INFINITE HANG WITH 100% CPU USAGE WITH LOAD DATA
LOCAL AND IMPORT ERRORS

Description:
-----------
This bug happens due to the fact that current algorithm is designed
that in the case of LOCAL load of data, in case of the error, the
remaining part of the file is read in order to return the proper
error message to the client side.

But, the problem with current implementation is that data stream
for the client side is cleared only in the case where line delimiters
exist, which is not a case with, for example fixed width
fields.

Fix:
----
Ported patch provided by Sinisa Milivojevic n bug report for this
issue to 5.5+ versions.

As part of this patch code is changed to clear the data stream
by calling new member function "READ_INFO::skip_data_till_eof".

dc65d9217c Fix for Bug#11765141 - "58072: LOAD DATA INFILE: LEAKS IO CACHE MEMORY WHEN ERROR OCCURS"
mysql-test/t/loaddata.test:
  test for bug; without fix, running the test with --valgrind would show the leak
  and make the test fail.
sql/sql_load.cc:
  * In READ_INFO class, 'need_end_io_cache' is true as long as init_io_cache() was called,
  so if it's true, we need to call end_io_cache(), to free memory allocated
  by init_io_cache(). No matter the value of 'error'. In the bug's scenario,
  'error' was set to true in read_sep_field() because
  '1' (read from file) isn't suitable to load into a geometric column. Because of
  'error', end_io_cache() was not called.
  Note: end_io_cache() calls my_b_flush_io_cache(), which will do nothing wrong given
  that the file is opened for reads only; see the init_io_cache() call which uses
  only those read-only types:
  (get_it_from_net) ? READ_NET : (is_fifo ? READ_FIFO : READ_CACHE).
  IF the cache were rather used to write to the file, my_b_flush_io_cache() may
  write to it, and it may be questionable to write to the file
  if 'error' is true. But here there's no problem.
  * Now that 'need_end_io_cache' is checked even if 'error' is true, it needs
  to be initialized in all cases.
  * Bonus: move some variables to the initialization list.

sql-common/my_time.c:
  * call str_to_time from str_to_datetime, as appropriate
  * date/time to string conversions take precision as an argument
  * number_to_time()
  * TIME_to_double()
  * pack_time() and unpack_time()
sql/event_data_objects.cc:
  cast is not needed
  my_datetime_to_str() takes precision as an argument
sql/event_db_repository.cc:
  avoid dangerous downcast (because the pointer is
  not always Field_timestamp, see events_1.test)
sql/event_queue.cc:
  avoid silly double-work for cond_wait
  (having an endpoint of wait, subtract the current time to get the timeout,
  and use set_timespec() macro to fill in struct timespec, by adding the current
  time to the timeout)
sql/field.cc:
  * remove virtual Field::get_time(), everyone should use only Field::get_date()
  * remove lots of #ifdef WORDS_BIGENDIAN
  * unified the warnings from Field_timestamp/datetime/time/date/newdate store methods
  * Field_timestamp_hires, Field_datetime_hires, Field_time_hires
  * Field_temporal
  * make_truncated_value_warning and Field::set_datetime_warning use Lazy_string as an argument, removed char*/int/double variants
sql/field.h:
  * remove virtual Field::get_time(), everyone should use only Field::get_date()
  * remove lots of #ifdef WORDS_BIGENDIAN
  * unified the warnings from Field_timestamp/datetime/time/date/newdate store methods
  * Field_timestamp_hires, Field_datetime_hires, Field_time_hires
  * Field_temporal
  * make_truncated_value_warning and Field::set_datetime_warning use Lazy_string as an argument, removed char*/int/double variants
  * removed Field::can_be_compared_as_longlong(). Use Field::cmp_type() == INT_RESULT instead
sql/filesort.cc:
  TIME_RESULT, cmp_time()
sql/item.cc:
  * numbers aren't quoted in EXPLAIN EXTENDED
  * Item::cmp_result() instead of Item::is_datetime() and Item::result_as_longlong()
  * virtual Item::get_time() is gone
  * Item_param::field_type() is set correctly
  * Item_datetime, for a datetime constant
  * time to anything is compared as a time
  * Item_cache::print() prints the value is available
  * bug fixed in Item_cache_int::val_str()
sql/item.h:
  * Item::print_value(), to be used from Item_xxx::print() when needed
  * Item::cmp_result() instead of Item::is_datetime() and Item::result_as_longlong()
  * virtual Item::get_time() is gone
  * Item_datetime, for a datetime constant
  * better default for cast_to_int_type()
  * Item_cache objects now *always* have the field_type() set
sql/item_cmpfunc.cc:
  * get_year_value, get_time_value are gone. get_datetime_value does it all
  * get_value_a_func, get_value_b_func are gone
  * can_compare_as_dates() is gone too, TIME_RESULT is used instead
  * cmp_type() instead or result_type() when doing a comparison
  * compare_datetime and compate_e_datetime in the comparator_matrix, is_nulls_eq is gone
  * Item::cmp_result() instead of Item::is_datetime() and Item::result_as_longlong()
sql/item_cmpfunc.h:
  greatly simplified Arg_comparator
sql/item_create.cc:
  * fix a bug in error messages in CAST
sql/item_func.cc:
  Item::cmp_result() instead of Item::is_datetime() and Item::result_as_longlong()
  mention all possibitiles in switch over Item_result values, or use default:
sql/item_row.h:
  overwrite the default cmp_type() for Item_row,
  as no MYSQL_TYPE_xxx value corresponds to ROW_RESULT
sql/item_timefunc.cc:
  rewrite make_datetime to support precision argument
  SEC_TO_TIME is real function, not integer.
  many functions that returned temporal values had duplicate code in val_* methods,
  some of them did not have get_date() which resulted in unnecessary date->str->date conversions.
  Now they all are derived from Item_temporal_func and *only* provide get_date, not val* methods.
  many fixes to set decimals (datetime precision) correctly.
sql/item_timefunc.h:

  replication of NOW(6)
sql/mysql_priv.h:
  Lazy_string class to pass a value (string, number, time) polymorphically down the stack.
  make_truncated_value_warning() that uses it.
sql/mysqld.cc:
  datetime in Arg_comparator::comparator_matrix
sql/opt_range.cc:
  cleanup: don't disable warnings before calling save_in_field_no_warnings()
sql/protocol.cc:
  Protocol::store(time) now takes the precision as an argument
sql/protocol.h:

dbb643d64e Bug #51876: crash/memory underrun when loading data with ucs2
and reverse() function

3 problems fixed :
1. The reported problem : caused by incorrect parsing of
the file as ucs data resulting in wrong length of the parsed
string. Fixed by truncating the invalid trailing bytes
(non-complete multibyte characters) when reading from the file
2. LOAD DATA when reading from a proper UCS2 file wasn't
recognizing the new line characters. Fixed by first looking
if a byte is a new line (or any other special) character before
reading it as a part of a multibyte character.
3. When using user variables to hold the column data in LOAD
DATA the character set of the user variable was set incorrectly
to the database charset. Fixed by setting it to the charset
specified by LOAD DATA (if any).
