fb2323c082 Bug#11748731 - 37248: SOME 'BIG' TESTS FAILING ON 6.0:
alter_treable-big.test was failing due to the use of RAND() function which is no more
replication safe.
This has been modified using static values.

Also, 'sleep' has been replaced using 'debug_sync' and the execution time of the
test has been reduced significantly.

This test is now taken out of the disabled.def file and is being enabled.

cc05440836 Bug #49741 test files contain explicit references to bin/relay-log positions
Some of the test cases reference to binlog position and
these position numbers are written into result explicitly.
It is difficult to maintain if log event format changes.

There are a couple of cases explicit position number appears,
we handle them in different ways
A. 'CHANGE MASTER ...' with MASTER_LOG_POS or/and RELAY_LOG_POS options
   Use --replace_result to mask them.
B. 'SHOW BINLOG EVENT ...'
   Replaced by show_binlog_events.inc or wait_for_binlog_event.inc.
show_binlog_events.inc file's function is enhanced by given
   $binlog_file and $binlog_limit.
C. 'SHOW SLAVE STATUS', 'show_slave_status.inc' and 'show_slave_status2.inc'
For the test cases just care a few items in the result of 'SHOW SLAVE STATUS',
only the items related to each test case are showed.
'show_slave_status.inc' is rebuild, only the given items in $status_items
   will be showed.
   'check_slave_is_running.inc' and 'check_slave_no_error.inc'
and 'check_slave_param.inc' are auxiliary files helping
to show running status and error information easily.

b0dfdc2b83 Patch changing how ALTER TABLE implementation handles table locking
and invalidation in the most general case (non-temporary table and
not simple RENAME or ENABLE/DISABLE KEYS or partitioning command).

See comment for sql/sql_table.cc for more information.

These changes are prerequisite for 5.1 version of fix for bug #23667
"CREATE TABLE LIKE is not isolated from alteration by other connections"

7b1a94ef78 Fix for bug #25044 "ALTER TABLE ... ENABLE KEYS acquires global 'opening
tables' lock."

Execution of ALTER TABLE ... ENABLE KEYS on a table (which can take rather
long time) prevented concurrent execution of all statements using tables.

The problem was caused by the fact that we were holding LOCK_open mutex
during whole duration of this statement and particularly during call
to handler::enable_indexes(). This behavior was introduced as part of the
fix for bug 14262 "SP: DROP PROCEDURE|VIEW (maybe more) write to binlog
too late (race cond)"

The patch simply restores old behavior. Note that we can safely do this as
this operation takes exclusive lock (similar to name-lock) which blocks both
DML and DDL on the table being altered.

It also introduces mysql-test/include/wait_show_pattern.inc helper script
which is used to make test-case for this bug robust enough.
