introduce the syntax

Server will try auth plugins in the specified order until the first
success. No protocol changes, server uses the existing "switch plugin"
packet.
The auth chain is stored in json as
"auth_or":[{"plugin":"xxx","authentication_string":"yyy"},
{},
{"plugin":"foo","authentication_string":"bar"},
...],
"plugin":"aaa", "authentication_string":"bbb"
Note:
* "auth_or" implies that there might be "auth_and" someday;
* one entry in the array is an empty object, meaning to take plugin/auth
from the main json object. This preserves compatibility with
the existing mysql.global_priv table and with the mysql.user view.
This entry is preferrably a mysql_native_password plugin for a
non-empty mysql.user.password column.
SET PASSWORD is supported and changes the password for the *first*
plugin in the chain that has a notion of a "password"
Revert the side effect of 7c40996cc8.
Do not convert password hash to its binary representation when a user
entry is loaded. Do it lazily on the first authenticatation attempt.
As a collateral - force all authentication plugins to follow the
protocol and read_packet at least once before accessing info->username
(username is not available before first client handshake packet is read).
Fix PAM and GSSAPI plugins to behave.

thd_destructor_proxy() may miss abort signal if innobase_end() is running
concurrently, which causes server hang in pthread_join() on shutdown.
The problem was that aborting wasn't protected by mutex:

end thr: mysql_cond_broadcast(...);
proxy thr: mysql_cond_wait(...); // nobody to awake it
end thr: pthread_join(...); // waits for proxy thr
Also made main.mysqld_option_err reentrant.
InnoDB does not allow creating multiple FULLTEXT INDEX
in ALGORITHM=INPLACE. This constraint was not being properly
enforced after MariaDB started to support ALGORITHM=INSTANT
and instant ADD COLUMN.
As a side effect of this bug, we again allow ALGORITHM=INPLACE
to rebuild a table when one FULLTEXT INDEX survives.
Also, we are returning a more accurate reason for refusing LOCK=NONE.
innobase_fulltext_exist(): Return the number of fulltext indexes.
ha_innobase::check_if_supported_inplace_alter(): If the table
needs to be rebuilt, refuse the operation if multiple fulltext
indexes would remain.

Call alloc() instead of realloc()
Use alloc() if we don't need original string (avoid copy)
Removed not needed test of str_length in sql_string.cc
copy_if_not_alloced() was forgotten when changing realloc()'s to alloc()'s.
Changing it now.
Introduce User_table_tabular(mysql.user) and User_table_json(mysql.global_priv).
The latter is not implemented.
Automatic fallback to the old implementation works.
Results change because privilege tables are opened in a different
order now.
When update finishes, MDL_context::release_transactional_locks() first
releases MDL_STATEMENT locks (MDL_BACKUP_DML and MDL_BACKUP_TRANS_DML
in this particular cases), which allows FTWRL connection to proceed.
Then MDL_TRANSACTION locks get released (MDL_SHARED_WRITE in this case).
metadata_lock_info query may sporadically hit this gap and observe
these otherwise unexpected locks.
After MDEV-17772 table existence check is performed much earlier, so
create_table_select_before_check_if_exists debug sync point is not
reachable when table exists.
Moved debug sync point to appropriate place.
