0b38c93d6e Bug#38499: flush tables and multitable table update with
derived table cause crash

When a multi-UPDATE command fails to lock some table, and
subsequently succeeds, the tables need to be reopened if
they were altered. But the reopening procedure failed for
derived tables.

Extra cleanup has been added.

c37f9b9e79 BUG#29582: huge memory consumption with union, subselect, joins:
- Don't call mysql_select() several times for the select that enumerates
  a temporary table with the results of the UNION. Making this call for
  every subquery execution caused O(#enumerated-rows-in-the-outer-query)
  memory allocations.
- Instead, call join->reinit() and join->exec(), and
  = disable constant table detection for such joins,
  = provide special handling for table-less constant subqueries.

d71043b889 Fixed bug #27937: crash for the the second execution of a prepared
statement from a UNION query with ORDER BY an expression containing
RAND().
The crash happened because the global order by list in the union query
was not re-initialized for execution.
(Local order by lists were re-initialized though).

3113ce6383 Bug#27321: Wrong subquery result in a grouping select.
The Item_outer_ref class based on the Item_direct_ref class was always used
to represent an outer field. But if the outer select is a grouping one and the
outer field isn't under an aggregate function which is aggregated in that
outer select an Item_ref object should be used to represent such a field.
If the outer select in which the outer field is resolved isn't grouping then
the Item_field class should be used to represent such a field.
This logic also should be used for an outer field resolved through its alias
name.

Now the Item_field::fix_outer_field() uses Item_outer_field objects to
represent aliased and non-aliased outer fields for grouping outer selects
only.
Now the fix_inner_refs() function chooses which class to use to access outer
field - the Item_ref or the Item_direct_ref. An object of the chosen class
substitutes the original field in the Item_outer_ref object.
The direct_ref and the found_in_select_list fields were added to the
Item_outer_ref class.

d17ad7b3a4 Bug #25831: Deficiencies in INSERT ... SELECT ... field name resolving.
Several problems fixed:
  1. There was a "catch-all" context initialization in setup_tables()
    that was causing the table that we insert into to be visible in the
    SELECT part of an INSERT .. SELECT .. statement with no tables in
    its FROM clause. This was making sure all the under-initialized
    contexts in various parts of the code are not left uninitialized.
    Fixed by removing the "catch-all" statement and initializing the
    context in the parser.
  2. Incomplete name resolution context when resolving the right-hand
    values in the ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE ... part of an INSERT ... SELECT ...
    caused columns from NATURAL JOIN/JOIN USING table references in the
    FROM clause of the select to be unavailable.
    Fixed by establishing a proper name resolution context.
  3. When setting up the special name resolution context for problem 2
    there was no check for cases where an aggregate function without a
    GROUP BY effectively takes the column from the SELECT part of an
    INSERT ... SELECT unavailable for ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE.
    Fixed by checking for that condition when setting up the name
    resolution context.

19ee0a94fe Bug#23417: Too strict checks against GROUP BY in the ONLY_FULL_GROUP_BY mode.
Currently in the ONLY_FULL_GROUP_BY mode no hidden fields are allowed in the
select list. To ensure this each expression in the select list is checked
to be a constant, an aggregate function or to occur in the GROUP BY list.
The last two requirements are wrong and doesn't allow valid expressions like
"MAX(b) - MIN(b)" or "a + 1" in a query with grouping by a.

The correct check implemented by the patch will ensure that:
any field reference in the [sub]expressions of the select list
  is under an aggregate function or
  is mentioned as member of the group list or
  is an outer reference or
  is part of the select list element that coincide with a grouping element.

The Item_field objects now can contain the position of the select list
expression which they belong to. The position is saved during the
field's Item_field::fix_fields() call.

The non_agg_fields list for non-aggregated fields is added to the SELECT_LEX
class. The SELECT_LEX::cur_pos_in_select_list now contains the position in the
select list of the expression being currently fixed.

fc7514151f Fixed bug #18767.

For such queries order lists were concatenated and limit clause was
completely neglected.

a3ddcdf8fb Rename:
- current_arena to stmt_arena: the thread may have more than one
'current' arenas: one for runtime data, and one for the parsed
tree of a statement. Only one of them is active at any moment.
- set_item_arena -> set_query_arena, because Item_arena was renamed to
Query_arena a while ago
- set_n_backup_item_arena -> set_n_backup_active_arena;
the active arena is the arena thd->mem_root and thd->free_list
are currently pointing at.
- restore_backup_item_arena -> restore_active_arena (with the same
rationale)
- change_arena_if_needed -> activate_stmt_arena_if_needed; this
method sets thd->stmt_arena active if it's not done yet.

fa0ea36507 Fix bug #11335 View redefines TinyInt(1) column definition
Item_type_holder doesn't store information about length and exact type of

type to longtext.

Changed the way derived tables except unions are built. Now they are created
from original field list instead of list of Item_type_holder.

56a37f8e07 - don't call JOIN::join_free(1) twice for every join in JOIN::cleanup().
The reason it happened was that both, JOIN::cleanup() and JOIN::join_free(),
went over all nested joins and called cleanup/join_free for them.
For that:
- split recursive and non-recursive parts of JOIN::cleanup() and
JOIN::join_free()
- rename JOIN::cleanup to JOIN::destroy, as it actually destroys its
  argument
- move the recursive part of JOIN::cleanup to st_select_lex::cleanup
- move the non-recursive part of JOIN::join_free to the introduced
  method JOIN::cleanup().
