Caused by 2fcd8c1252. It used the documented pcre API
-pcre_exec(NULL, NULL, NULL, -999, -999, 0, NULL, 0)
to calculate the pcre stack frame size. Unfortunately, modern compilers
broke it by cloning and inlining pcre match() function. 2fcd8c1252
tried to workaround it by setting the stack frame size to at least 500.
It didn't work, 500 is not a universal constant.
Now we fix our copy of pcre to not inline or clone match() - so that
stack frame detection would work again - and detect at cmake time
whether system pcre is broken or usable.
Also use stack, not (much slower) malloc in bundled pcre, unless on Windows
- the probably ultimate fix for dependencies on VS
- remove some GET_TARGET_PROPERTY(LOCATION ...), they are deprecated in
cmake 3.9
- simplify signing targets on Windows.
- remove INSTALL_DEBUG_TARGET, we do not mix binaries from different builds
in the same package
Description: If libmysql is compiled with WITH_SSL=NO,
--ssl-* are not useful.
Solution: 1. Restricted WITH_SSL to values : bundled | yes | system
2. Made "bundled" as default value for WITH_SSL. Also,
not specifying WITH_SSL or even specifying WITH_SSL=no
will be treated as/converted to WITH_SSL=bundled.

To export symbols from the mysqld.exe, use lib.exe with /DEF, rather than
pre-link step when building mysqld.exe.
This helps to avoid relinking all plugins, if mysqld.exe was recompiled
but the list of its exports has not changed.
Also removed unnecessary DEPENDS in some ADD_CUSTOM_COMMAND (gen_lex_token,
gen_lex_hash etc). They confuse VS generator which tends to
recreate headers and do unnecessary recompilations.
Check for readline before checking for curses headers, because
MYSQL_CHECK_READLINE fails when curses is not found, but
CHECK_INCLUDE_FILES simply remembers the fact and continues. So if
there's no curses, MYSQL_CHECK_READLINE will abort, the user will then
installs curses and continue the build. Thus, CHECK_INCLUDE_HEADERS
will remember that there is no curses, but other checks from
MYSQL_CHECK_READLINE will remember that curses are there. It will
result in inconsistent HAVE_xxx defines.

Fixes CMake so that when building a 32-bit mips binary on a 64-bit
mips machine, the target is not set as 32-bit, which apparently
confused some tests in mroonga.

Fix build failures caused by new C runtime library
- isnan, snprintf, struct timespec are now defined, attempt to
redefine them leads
- P_tmpdir, tzname are no more defined
- lfind() and lsearch() in lf_hash.c had to be renamed, declaration
conflicts with some C runtime functions with the same name declared in
a header included by stdlib.h
Also fix couple of annoying warnings :
- remove #define NOMINMAX from config.h to avoid "redefined" compiler
warnings(NOMINMAX is already in compile flags)
- disable incremental linker in Debug as well (feature not used much
and compiler crashes often)
Also simplify package building with Wix, require Wix 3.9 or later
(VS2015 is not compatible with old Wix 3.5/3.6)
If GCC or CLang compile with link time optimization (-flto),
they throw an error during link , when lto sees a
function (e.g mysql_real_connect) is redeclared as "external void *"
in libmysql_exports.cc
The fix disables -flto for generated libmysql_exports.cc
Problem Statement
=========
Fix various issues when building MySQL with Visual Studio 2015.
Fix:
=======
- Visual Studio 2015 adds support for timespec. Add check and
related code to use this and only use our replacement if
timespec is not defined.
- Rename lfind/lsearch to my* to avoid redefinition problems.
- Set default value for TMPDIR to "" on Windows as P_tmpdir
no longer exists.
- using VS definition of snprintf if available
- tzname are now renamed to _tzname.
The License field in the MariaDB RPM packages is GPL. This does not tell
the version of GPL and might confuse tools and users that rely on this
field.
Best practice in the RPM world is to use "GPLv2" for the GPL 2.0
license.
The commit switches the license field of the RPM packages to GPLv2.

Since MariaDB packages have absolute paths, they are marked as not relocatable
by setting CPACK_RPM_PACKAGE_RELOCATABLE. According to logics of recent CPackRPM
it is not enough: one needs to set CPACK_PACKAGE_RELOCATABLE additionally.
Post-push fix: broken build on windows.
The problem is min/max macros from windows.h
which interfere with a template function callex max.
Solution: ADD_DEFINITIONS(-DNOMINMAX)
in cmake tests let's treat clang like gcc (same options,
same builtins) in many cases.
* don't check the compiler when
* testing for -fvisibility=hidden support
* testing for HAVE_ABI_CXA_DEMANGLE
* testing for HAVE_GCC_ATOMIC_BUILTINS
* when removing options with string(replace)
* when running ${CC} --version (ignore the error instead)
* run ABI checks for clang
* use "canonical" gcc flags for clang
* fix groonga too
Also:
* add cmake detection for gcc __atomic_* builtins. they might be
supported (__ATOMIC_SEQ_CST is defined), but not for all operand
sizes. In particular, 64-bit atomic load is problematic on i386
* cache check results for Windows
* remove the test for HAVE_CXXABI_H (HAVE_ABI_CXA_DEMANGLE is
suffifient)
Put client plugins into -common rpm, not -shared.
Because they're needed for
* all clients that link with shared libmysqlclient (-shared)
* our clients from -client rpm, they're statically linked (-client)
* the server that acts as a replication slave (-server)
