update_virtual_field() is called as part of index rebuild in
ha_myisam::repair() (MDEV-5800) which is done on bulk INSERT finish.
Assertion in update_virtual_field() was put as part of MDEV-16222
because update_virtual_field() returns in_use->is_error(). The idea:
wrongly mixed semantics of error status before update_virtual_field()
and the status returned by update_virtual_field(). The former can
falsely influence the latter.
Remove usage of deprecated variable storage_engine. It was deprecated in 5.5 but
it never issued a deprecation warning. Make it issue a warning in 10.5.1.
Replaced with default_storage_engine.
don't do anything special for stored generated columns
in MyISAM repair code.
add an assert that if there are virtual indexed columns, they
_must_ be beyond the file->s->base.reclength boundary
Problem was that one internal record buffer in MYISAM was not big enough to handle virtual fields.
Fixed by extending buffer.
Fixed test case to 79 characters
Found and fixed 2 problems:
- Filesort addon fields didn't mark virtual columns properly
- multi-range-read calculated vcol bitmap but was not using it.
This caused wrong vcol field to be calculated on read, which caused the assert.
otherwise we'd need to store sql_mode *per vcol*
(consider CREATE INDEX...) and how SHOW CREATE TABLE would
support that?
Additionally, get rid of vcol::expr_str, just to make sure
the string is always generated and never leaked in the
original form.
* don't issue an error for ER_KEY_BASED_ON_GENERATED_VIRTUAL_COLUMN
* support keyread on vcols
* callback into the server to compute vcol values from mi_check/mi_repair
* DMLs just work. Automatically.

Show PERSISTENT instead of VIRTUAL for persistent columns.
There was no error thrown when creating a table with a virtual table
computed by an expression returning a row.
This caused a crash when inserting into the table.
Removed periods at the end of the error messages for virtual columns.
Adjusted output in test result files accordingly.
