Add doxygen markup so comments get picked up. Also fix minor typos and
expand documentation where relevant.

Since 0930eb86cb, system table creation
needed for spider init is delayed to the signal_ddl_recovery_done
callback. Since it is part of the init, failure should result in
spider deinit.
We also remove the call to spider_init_system_tables() from
spider_db_init(), as it was removed in the commit mentioned above and
accidentally restored in a merge.
Fixing a few problems relealed by UBSAN in type_float.test
- multiplication overflow in dtoa.c
- uninitialized Field::geom_type (and Field::srid as well)
- Wrong call-back function types used in combination with SHOW_FUNC.
Changes in the mysql_show_var_func data type definition were not
properly addressed all around the code by the following commits:
b4ff64568c18feb62fee0ee879ff8a
Adding a helper SHOW_FUNC_ENTRY() function and replacing
all mysql_show_var_func declarations using SHOW_FUNC
to SHOW_FUNC_ENTRY, to catch mysql_show_var_func in the future
at compilation time.
The sys_var class has the deprecation_substitute member to mark the
deprecated variables. As it's set, the server produces warnings when
these variables are used. However, the plugin has no means to utilize
that functionality.
So, the PLUGIN_VAR_DEPRECATED flag is introduced to set the
deprecation_substitute with the empty string. A non-empty string can
make the warning more informative, but there's no nice way seen to
specify it, and not that needed at the moment.
This is used by InnoDB to detect if CREATE...SELECT is used
Other things:
- Changed InnoDB to use thd_ddl_options()
- Removed lock checking code for create...select (Approved by Marko)
- Defining MariaDB_FUNCTION_PLUGIN
- Changing the code in /plugins/type_inet/ and /plugins/type_test/
to use MariaDB_FUNCTION_PLUGIN instead of MariaDB_FUNCTION_COLLECTION_PLUGIN.
- Changing maturity for the INET6 data type plugin from experimental to alpha.
Many InnoDB internal variables and counters were only exposed
in an unstructured fashion via SHOW ENGINE INNODB STATUS.
Expose more variables via SHOW STATUS. Many of these were
exported in XtraDB.
Also, introduce SHOW_SIZE_T and use the proper size for
exporting the InnoDB variables.
Remove some unnecessary indirection via export_vars, and
bind some variables directly.
dict_sys_t::rough_size(): Replaces dict_sys_get_size()
and includes the hash table sizes.
This is based on a contribution by Tony Liu from ServiceNow.
- Backported the MYSQL_SYSVAR_SIZE_T to 10.0
- The parameter innodb_ft_result_cache_limit was only 32 bits wide
also on 64-bit systems. Make it size_t, so that it will be 64 bits
on 64-bit systems.
- Added a test case that show how innodb_ft_result_cache_limit variables
behaves in 32bit and 64 bit system.
- Remove not used thd_rpl_is_parallel()
- Remove not used mysql_notify_thread_having_shared_lock()
- Remove not needed LOCK_thread_count from MYSQL_BIN_LOG::reset_logs()
- LOCK_thread_count is not protecting against rollback, so this
code and comment is not needed
- Remove mutex_locks in slave.cc that are not needed.
Added THD::assert_not_linked() to ensure that it was safe to remove
- Fixed not repeatable test load_data_stmt_view
- Updated binlog_killed to test removal of mutex
(thanks to Andrei Elkin for test)
- More code comments
Also, include fixes by Vladislav Vaintroub to the
aws_key_management plugin. The AWS C++ SDK specifically depends on
OPENSSL_LIBRARIES, not generic SSL_LIBRARIES (such as YaSSL).
* define MYSQL_DYNAMIC_PLUGIN only for server plugins
* don't typedef my_bool in mysql.h if plugin.h has already done it
* fix the include guard in plugin.h
