358921ce32 MDEV-26938 Support descending indexes internally in InnoDB
This is loosely based on the InnoDB changes in
mysql/mysql-server@97fd8b1b69
that I had developed in 2015 or 2016.

For each B-tree key field, we will allow a flag ASC/DESC to be associated.
When PRIMARY KEY fields are internally appended to secondary indexes,
the ASC/DESC attribute will be inherited, so that covering index scans
will work as expected.

Note: Until the subsequent commit, the DESC attribute will be ignored
(no HA_REVERSE_SORT flag will be written to .frm files).

dict_field_t::descending: A new flag to denote descending order.

cmp_data(), cmp_dfield_dfield(): Add a new parameter descending.

cmp_dtuple_rec(), cmp_dtuple_rec_with_match(): Add a parameter "index".

dtuple_coll_eq(): Replaces dtuple_coll_cmp().

cmp_dfield_dfield_eq_prefix(): Replaces cmp_dfield_dfield_like_prefix().

dict_index_t::is_btree(): Check whether the index is a regular
B-tree index (not SPATIAL, FULLTEXT, or the ibuf.index,
or a corrupted index.

btr_cur_search_to_nth_level_func(): Only attempt to use
the adaptive hash index if index->is_btree().
This function may also be invoked on ibuf.index, and
cmp_dtuple_rec_with_match_bytes() will no longer work on ibuf.index
because it assumes that the index and record fields exactly match.
The ibuf.index is a special variadic index tree.

8be3794b42 MDEV-21924 Clean up InnoDB GIS record comparison
The extension of the record comparison functions for SPATIAL INDEX in
mysql/mysql-server@b66ad511b6
was suboptimal for multiple reasons:

Some functions used unnecessary temporary variables of the int type,
instead of the more appropriate size_t, causing type mismatch.

Many functions unnecessarily required rec_get_offsets() to be
computed, or a parameter for length, although the size of the
minimum bounding rectangle (MBR) is hard-coded as
SPDIMS * 2 * sizeof(double), or 32 bytes.

In InnoDB SPATIAL INDEX records, there always is a 32-byte key
followed by either a 4-byte child page number or the PRIMARY KEY value.

The length parameters were not properly validated.
The function cmp_geometry_field() was making an incorrect attempt
at checking that the lengths are at least sizeof(double) (8 bytes),
even though the function is accessing up to 32 bytes in both MBR.

Functions that are called from only one compilation unit are defined
in another compilation unit, making the code harder to follow and
potentially slower to execute.

cmp_dtuple_rec_with_gis(): FIXME: Correct the debug assertion
and possibly the function TABLE_SHARE::init_from_binary_frm_image()
or related code, which causes an unexpected length of
DATA_MBR_LEN + 2 bytes to be passed to this function.

457ce97ef2 MDEV-21512 InnoDB may hang due to SPATIAL INDEX
MySQL 5.7.29 includes the following fix:
Bug #30287668 INNODB: A LONG SEMAPHORE WAIT
mysql/mysql-server@5cdbb22b51

There is no test case. It seems that the problem could occur when
a spatial index is large and peculiar enough so that multiple R-tree
leaf pages will have the exactly same maximum bounding rectangle (MBR).

The commit message suggests that the hang can occur when R-tree
non-leaf pages are being merged, which should only be possible
during transaction rollback or the purge of transaction history,
when the R-tree index is at least 2 levels high and very many records
are being deleted. The message says that a comparison result that two
spatial index node pointer records are equal will cause an infinite loop
in rtr_page_copy_rec_list_end_no_locks(). Hence, we must include the
child page number in the comparison to be consistent with
mysql/mysql-server@2e11fe0e15.

We fix this bug in a simpler way, involving fewer code changes.

cmp_rec_rec(): Renamed from cmp_rec_rec_with_match().
Assert that rec2 always resides in an index page.
Treat non-leaf spatial index pages specially.

f0aa073f2b MDEV-20950 Reduce size of record offsets
offset_t: this is a type which represents one record offset.
It's unsigned short int.

a lot of functions: replace ulint with offset_t

btr_pcur_restore_position_func(),
page_validate(),
row_ins_scan_sec_index_for_duplicate(),
row_upd_clust_rec_by_insert_inherit_func(),
row_vers_impl_x_locked_low(),
trx_undo_prev_version_build():
  allocate record offsets on the stack instead of waiting for rec_get_offsets()
  to allocate it from mem_heap_t. So, reducing memory allocations.

RECORD_OFFSET, INDEX_OFFSET:
  now it's less convenient to store pointers in offset_t*
  array. One pointer occupies now several offset_t. And those constant are start
  indexes into array to places where to store pointer values

REC_OFFS_HEADER_SIZE: adjusted for the new reality

REC_OFFS_NORMAL_SIZE:
  increase size from 100 to 300 which means less heap allocations.
  And sizeof(offset_t[REC_OFFS_NORMAL_SIZE]) now is 600 bytes which
  is smaller than previous 800 bytes.

REC_OFFS_SEC_INDEX_SIZE: adjusted for the new reality

rem0rec.h, rem0rec.ic, rem0rec.cc:
  various arguments, return values and local variables types were changed to
  fix numerous integer conversions issues.

enum field_type_t:
  offset types concept was introduces which replaces old offset flags stuff.
  Like in earlier version, 2 upper bits are used to store offset type.
  And this enum represents those types.

REC_OFFS_SQL_NULL, REC_OFFS_MASK: removed

get_type(), set_type(), get_value(), combine():
  these are convenience functions to work with offsets and it's types

rec_offs_base()[0]:
  still uses an old scheme with flags REC_OFFS_COMPACT and REC_OFFS_EXTERNAL

rec_offs_base()[i]:
  these have type offset_t now. Two upper bits contains type.

4e1116b2c6 MDEV-12271 Port MySQL 8.0 Bug#23150562 REMOVE UNIV_MUST_NOT_INLINE AND UNIV_NONINL
Also, remove empty .ic files that were not removed by my MySQL commit.

Problem:
InnoDB used to support a compilation mode that allowed to choose
whether the function definitions in .ic files are to be inlined or not.
This stopped making sense when InnoDB moved to C++ in MySQL 5.6
(and ha_innodb.cc started to #include .ic files), and more so in
MySQL 5.7 when inline methods and functions were introduced
in .h files.

Solution:
Remove all references to UNIV_NONINL and UNIV_MUST_NOT_INLINE from
all files, assuming that the symbols are never defined.
Remove the files fut0fut.cc and ut0byte.cc which only mattered when
UNIV_NONINL was defined.

MDEV-10547: Test multi_update_innodb fails with InnoDB 5.7

	The failure happened because 5.7 has changed the signature of
	the bool handler::primary_key_is_clustered() const

	signature which caused the function not to be used.
