SST for mariabackup may not destroy old files if datadir or
other working directory is declared as a symlink due to the lack
of the "-L" option among the find utility options, similarly SST
for rsync in some cases may not transfer data directories if they
are created as symlinks. This fix adds the missing option and
generally unifies the work with find utility options to avoid
failures in the interpretation of directories and regular
expressions.
Before starting to go over the format string, prepare the current time
zone information incase '%z' or '%Z' is encountered.
This information can be obtained as given below:
A) If timezone is not set ( meaning we are working with system timezone):
Get the MYSQL_TIME representation for current time and GMT time using
current thread variable for timezone and timezone variable for UTC
respectively. This MYSQL_TIME variable will be used to calculate time
difference. Also convert current time in second to tm structure to
get system timezone information.
B) If timezone is set as offset:
Get timezone information using current timezone information and store
in appropriate variable.
C) If timezone is set as some place (example: Europe/Berlin)
Get timezone information by searching the timezone. During internal
timezone search, information like timeoffset from UTC and abbrevation
is stored in another relevant structure. Hence use the same information.
.snapshot exists as a directory on NetApp storage and
should not be copied during the sst process.

The table structure from MySQL-5.1.14 is:
CREATE TABLE `slow_log` (
`start_time` timestamp NOT NULL DEFAULT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP ON UPDATE CURRENT_TIMESTAMP,
`user_host` mediumtext NOT NULL,
`query_time` time NOT NULL,
`lock_time` time NOT NULL,
`rows_sent` int(11) NOT NULL,
`rows_examined` int(11) NOT NULL,
`db` varchar(512) DEFAULT NULL,
`last_insert_id` int(11) DEFAULT NULL,
`insert_id` int(11) DEFAULT NULL,
`server_id` int(11) DEFAULT NULL,
`sql_text` mediumtext NOT NULL
) ENGINE=CSV DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8 COMMENT='Slow log'
Even as far back as MySQL-5.5.40 this table could be created as NULLs
where not permitted in the CSV table time, but it seems they
where allowed sometime.
As the first part of mariadb-upgrade adds the column thread_id without
correcting the 'NULL'able status of existing columns it fails.
We reorder the sql statements in the ugprade as follows:
ALTER TABLE slow_log MODIFY {columns} {new types} NOT NULL,....
As thread_id doesn't exist in the above statement it was removed from
the first ALTER TABLE statement to prevent failure.
Previous ALTER TABLE slow_log where moved later appending thread_id
and rows_affected, and also enforces the type of thread_id if it
was incorrectly like the now first ALTER STATEMENT slow_log used
to do.
mariadb-install-db --auth-root-authentication-method=normal created 4
root accounts by default, but only two of these had PROXY privilege
granted.
mariadb-install-db (default option
--auth-root-authentication-method=socket) as non-root user also didn't
grant PROXY priv to the created nonroot@localhost user.
To fix this, in mysql_system_tables_data.sql, we re-use tmp_user_nopasswd
as this contains the list of all root users.
REPLACE INTO tmp_proxies_priv SELECT @current_hostname, IFNULL(@auth_root_socket, 'root')
creates the $user@$current_host but will not error if @auth_root_socket
is null. Note @current_hostname lines are filtered out with
--cross-bootstrap in mariadb-install-db so it was needed to include this
expression for consistency.
Like the existing mysql_system_tables.sql is used to create teh
$user@localhost proxies_priv.
Test cases roles.acl_statistics, perfschema,privilege_table_io depends on the number of proxy users.

* IS_USER_TEMP_TABLE() was misleading, name didn't match the code
* list of temp tables was rescanned number_of_databases times
* some temporary tables were not shown (from nonexistent databases)
* some temporary tables were shown more than once (e.g. after self-joins)
* sys.table_exists() - avoid querying I_S twice
* fix handling of temporary MERGE tables - it's pointless to fully open
them, they're not in thd->temporary_tables, so they simply fail to
open and are skipped. Relax the assertion instead.
- MDEV-28342 raised the error in case temporary table shadows base table
- Now we are allowed to shadow base tables with temporary tables and
`sys.create_synonym_db()` can easily check for existance of temporary table and
ignore view creation, since it is not supported to create view from
temporary table.

This commit updates sysschema to work with the new behaviour of show
tables and information_schema.tables table showing temporary tables for

mysql.proc. The table is probably corrupted"
Analysis: When mysql_upgrade runs statements for upgrade, characterset is
converted to utf8mb4 because server starts with old_mode that interprets
utf8 to utf8mb4, but mysql.proc table has "utf8mb3" as hardcoded, so
it crashes with corrupted table.
Fix: Changed Table_check_intact::check() definition to allow both
utf8mb3 and utf8mb4 by checking prefix and changing the upgrade scripts
to explicitly use utf8mb3
- Moved view checks after privilege tables are fixed. This is to avoid
warnings about wrongly defined mysql.proc when checking views.
- Don't use stat tables before they have been fixed.
- Don't run mysql_fix_view() if 'FOR MYSQL' is used if the view is
already a MariaDB view.
- Added 'FOR UPGRADE' as an option for 'REPAIR VIEW' to be able to
detect if the REPAIR command comes from mariadb_upgrade. In this
case we get a warning, instead of an error, if a definer of a view
does not exists.
This commit adds a new 'no-sni' option to socat which is required to
properly authenticate with newer socat versions (after version 1.7.4+).
This option is needed to disable the automatic use of the SNI feature
(Server Name Indication) since the SST script directly specifies the
commonname if necessary and automatic activation of the SNI feature
is unnecessary in such scenarios.
These are mainly internal files so is a low impact change.
The few scripts/mysql*sql where renames to mariadb_* prefix

Commit reduces need of AWK-command at least
for Debian mariadb-server-compat package.
Commit removes need of AWK-command from
scripts/mysql_install_db.sh script.
AWK command is replace by purely Posix sh compiliant version.
In some cases, the errors would not be written to the log.
This was however not critical as in most cases mysql_install_db
should not normally write anything to the log.
