MDEV-15091 : Windows, 64bit: reenable and fix warning C4267 (conversion from 'size_t' to 'type', possible loss of data) Handle string length as size_t, consistently (almost always:)) Change function prototypes to accept size_t, where in the past ulong or uint were used. change local/member variables to size_t when appropriate. Windows, compiling : reenable warning C4996 (deprecated functions) But set _CRT_NONSTDC_NO_WARNINGS to silence silly warnings about ANSI C function being non-standard Remove now deprecated GetVersion()/GetVersionEx(),except single case where where it is really needed, in feedback plugin. Fix build and packaging on Windows: - build executables we have in 5.3 (mysql_install_db.exe, mysq_upgrade_service.exe, upgrade wizard), and MSI - add some missing headers to windows specific source files. This needs to be done since 5.5 is using WIN32_LEAN_AND_MEAN preprocessor constant thus windows.h no more includes whiole Windows - do not deliver perl scripts (mysql_install_db.pl & friends) -they do not work, are not documented, and we have native executables for this functionality. do not pack echo.exe, replace.exe into MSI, they are not needed. MDEV-4548 - compile sphinx.so/dll and include into packages replaced snippets_udf.cc with the latest version (2.0.8 from sphinxsource.com), fixed trivial errors on Windows. It will be compiled and installed into plugins directory now. 2013-05-22 16:44:44 +02:00

MDEV-29490 Renaming internally used client API to avoid name conflicts with C/C. The patch introduces mariadb_capi_rename.h which is included into mysql.h. The hew header contains macro definitions for the names being renamed. In versions 10.6+(i.e. where sql service exists) the renaming condition in the mariadb_capi_rename.h should be added with && !defined(MYSQL_DYNAMIC_PLUGIN) and look like The patch also contains removal of mysql.h from the api check. Disabling false_duper-6543 test for embedded. ha_federated.so uses C API. C API functions are being renamed in the server, but not renamed in embedded, since embedded server library should have proper C API, as expected by programs using it. Thus the same ha_federated.so cannot work both for server and embedded server library.
